Job Description
Full time Cook's position in the Qld Gulf available from beginning of August at Wernadinga Station. May suit traveller who wants to experience outback Australia and work with a team of enthusiastic young workers, who loves to cook. No experience is needed, however basic cooking skills are needed. Would suit the person who is organized and able to work independently.
Role includes -
Cooking good homestyle meals with beef for approximately 10 adults on a regular basis with guests as necessary. Three meals per day to prepare (morning tea, lunch and dinner) with one hot breakfast per week.
Cleaning of cookhouse and several small guest rooms as necessary. Airconditioned, spacious cookhouse with large preparation area, commercial dishwasher, cold room, industrial sized oven etc.
May include some other jobs as needed (ie possible feeding of some poddy calves, other small cleaning or gardening jobs).
5-6 days work per week.
Board and airconditioned accommodation included. Would prefer a commitment to 3 months or more. Will count towards 2nd year visa.
